The First Glimpse video of Samantha's upcoming sci-fi thriller 'Yashoda' was released yesterday and it's looks quite intriguing Have you ever woken up to a feeling of being in a different world, unaware of your senses and surroundings, totally alone (probably imprisoned) and pleased at the first sign of life around you? Well, that’s exactly what actress Samantha in the titular role of Yashoda might be experiencing in the ‘first glimpse’ of the film released by the makers. The sci-fi thriller seems to have all the elements of George Orwell’s ‘1984’ and it’s hard to figure out whether the actress is there of her own volition. She also looks pregnant and isolated for a scientific experimentation. Desperate for companionship, she reaches out for a bird standing on her window sill, rather unsuccessfully, it seems. The visuals are arresting and the glimpse does indeed pique your curiosity while the background score of Mani Sharma aptly culminates in a crescendo as the bewilderment of the lead character strikes the viewer. Probably a reference to the foster-mother character in Hindu mythology, ‘Yashoda’ is directed by the duo of Hari and Harish, under Sridevi Movies banner of Sivalenka Krishna Prasad. It also has Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar playing the pivotal roles of 'Gautham' and 'Madhubala'. Take a look at the First Glimpse here:
