Now, Suhas is gearing up for his first theatrical release as the lead in the movie Writer Padmabhushan. Debutant director Shanmukha Prasanth has written and directed the film, which is set in Vijayawada, which is interestingly where the lead actor hails from. The film will also feature Ashish Vidhyarti, Rohini, and Goparaju Ramana in pivotal roles. Tina Shilparaj, who is playing the female lead, will be making her Tollywood debut with the movie. Chai Bisket Films and Lahari Films, the production houses bankrolling the movie, are aggressively promoting it among the masses. Similar, to the promotions for Major, the makers, organised pre-release screenings of the movie in select cities allowing the audience to watch the movie well in advance of its release. Reportedly, the audience at these screenings has been awed by the movie. The positive word of mouth might work in favour of the movie before its release on February 3. Another interesting promotional strategy adopted by the makers is to slash ticket prices. Ticket prices in Telangana are capped at Rs 150 for multiplexes and Rs 110 for single screens.
