Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture that took him back to the year 1978, in which he had five blockbuster successes
Indian cinema's legendary icon Amitabh Bachchan, popularly known as Big B, will next be seen in the pan-Indian film Brahmastra which is releasing on September 9. The movie is going to have a Telugu release as well and none other than SS Rajamouli is presenting the film down South.
Amitabh plays the role of ‘Guru’ in the Ayan Mukherji directorial and had readily agreed to do the film which is a blend of ancient Indian myths, modern technology and a fantasy world.
Meanwhile, Amitabh went down memory lane and shared a picture of a queue of people more than a mile long waiting for advance booking of his film ‘Don’ in 1978. The 79 year-old actor became nostalgic as he revealed that he had five blockbusters in that year: ‘Don’, ‘Kasme Vaade’, ‘Trishul’, ‘Muquaddar Ka Sikandar’ and ‘Ganga Ki Saugandh’, some of which ran for more than 50 weeks. “What days they were!” remarked Amitabh.
