Chiyaan Vikram's take on the boycott trend will leave you in splits
Chiyaan Vikram is leaving no stone unturned to promote his upcoming action thriller flick Cobra, slated to release on August 31. The actor has been touring across South India to promote the film. Chiyaan was recently in Hyderabad and was asked to comment on the hottest topic of the hour, the ongoing boycott trend and his reply left everyone in splits.
The Aparichithudu actor said, "I know about the boy. I know about the cot. What is this Boycott? I don't know the word. I know nothing except for Cobra," the actor said. Of late, many films have become victims of the boycott trend including Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Vijay Deverakonda’s pan-Indian film Liger.
The makers of 'Cobra' announced that the censor board has cleared the film with a UA certificate. With a runtime of 3:3:3 (3 hours 3 minutes and 3 seconds), Cobra is all set to entertain the audience when it releases tomorrow.
'Cobra' is written and directed by 'Demonte Colony' fame Ajay Gnanamuthu, and produced by Lalit Kumar, under the banner of 7 Screen Studio. This film is full of surprises as the ace Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan is making his film debut and will be playing the role of the antagonist. Oscar-Winning music director A R Rahman has composed the tunes and NV Prasad has acquired the rights of 'Cobra' in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
