Tarak talks about the global outpour of love received by ‘RRR’ at the Golden Globes 2023 red carpet RRR has attained monumental heights in terms of acclaim, affinity, and popularity, among others. After the period action drama garnered immense respect in the West, the ‘Best Original Song’ award that the movie bagged for the “Naatu Naatu” song at the Golden Globes 2023 has only added to its glory. Speaking about the same on the red carpet of the renowned Hollywood event, Jr NTR, one of the leads of the movie, expressed his delight and what the award really means. “It can't get any better than this. The West accepting us… America, the Mecca of Filmmaking, here we are at the (Golden) Globes. What else can an actor ask for? What else can I ask for being a part of RRR? You know, truly honoured... truly honoured, (sic)” remarked Tarak. The ‘Young Tiger’ also spoke about the fanfare he experienced at the Los Angeles’ TCL Chinese Theatres he had visited before attending the Golden Globes 2023 premiere. “Oh, it's been great, I was at the Chinese… TCL (theatres) yesterday. You know that was on my bucket list, I was really waiting to watch that. And oh my god, it just blew my mind... That reaction yesterday was nothing less than the reaction (we received) back home… in theatres… People were dancing, people were yelling, people were shouting… screaming. Oh, I just loved it that was a whole experience altogether,” said the ‘RRR’ actor. Jr NTR also addressed the Oscar buzz and remarked that he'd be proud to take the Oscars award back home and will take pride in doing so. Co-starring Ram Charan, the SS Rajamouli directorial has ascended unprecedented heights and brought myriad laurels to Indian cinema.
