Ram Charan will join Chiranjeevi-Ravi Teja starrer ‘Waltair Veerayya’ success celebrations
Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya has been on a roll since the day of its release. After a massive opening on the Sankranti weekend, the movie, according to trade analysts, continued to perform well in the theatres amassing massive collections even on weekdays. It reportedly became one of 6 movies to collect Rs 100 crores from the Telugu states. The film grossed more than Rs 200 crore at the worldwide box office.
The makers, Mythri Movie Makers, are organising a success meet to celebrate the film’s strong run at the box office. The event will start at 6:00 pm on 28 January 2023 and will be held at University Arts and Sciences College, Subedari, Hanamkonda, Telangana. Ram Charan will be attending the event as a special guest. The young actor collaborated with Mythri Movie Makers for the 2018 blockbuster Rangasthalam, in which he played the role of ‘Chitti Babu’ a young man with impaired hearing who takes on the corrupt leader of their village government.
During the promotional events for ‘Waltair Veerayya’ Chiranjeevi was vocal about how his son played an instrumental role in his enthusiasm for working with the production house. Apparently, Ram Charan had showered praises on Mythri and assured Chiru that they would support him fully for the movie like they had supported him during ‘Rangasthalam’.
‘Waltair Veerayya’, a mass-action entertainer, also stars Ravi Teja, who plays the role of Chiru’s step-brother. The KS Ravindra (Bobby) directorial also stars Shruti Haasan, Catherine Tresa, Prakash Raj and Bobby Simha in pivotal roles.
