Makers release another dubbed version of the action thriller in theatres across select cities in IndiaOne of the prominent faces of the Tamil Film Industry, Vishal made his way up the ladder by essaying roles that appeal to a significant subset of moviegoers. Post-pandemic, Vishal had a handful of releases, including the recent action flick Laatti, which had a pan-Indian release in multiple languages. The Tamil-original made its way to the cinemas on December 22 and had a Telugu dubbed release under the same title. One week into the cinemas, the makers of ‘Laatti’ have decided to make an addition and announced their plans of releasing the dubbed version in Hindi. The Hindi version of the A Vinoth Kumar-directorial hit the big screens earlier today in more than 250 theatres as reported by trade analysts. Starring Vishal and Sunainaa in the lead, the cop drama is all about a suspended police constable ‘Muruganantham’ (Vishal), who’s entrapped in a basement by a kingpin. His pursuit to save his 10-year-old by overpowering the kingpin and his thugs forms the crux of the plot.For his next, titled Mark Anthony, Vishal might don a menacing character in the direction of Adhik Ravichandran. Though the official release date hasn't been announced, the action drama is expected to a release in 2023.
