You can now watch the Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubati-starrer in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil Based on a real-life story during the Rebellion Movement in Telangana in the 90s, Virata Parvam (2022) revolves around Vennela’s (Sai Pallavi) love for Ravanna (Rana Daggubati), a Naxal leader. After a not-so-good run at the box office, the Venu Udugula-directorial is now available for OTT viewing. While the dramatic thriller received thumbs up from the critics, it failed to strike a chord with the theatre-going audience. However, owing to its strong critical reception, OTT platform Netflix has picked up the movie and it is ready to stream from July 1 onwards. The OTT platform announced the on-boarding of the film to its visual theatrical realm with the caption: “A relentless quest for love and freedom! Get ready to experience the world of Virata Parvam, coming to Netflix on 1st of July in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil! #VirataParvamOnNetflix.” The movie was originally set to be released on April 30 2021 but was postponed due to the onset of COVID-19 and eventually released on June 17.
