“I am not insecure about Shahid Kapoor as a parallel lead in Farzi,” says 'Vikram' actorActor Vijay Sethupathi who has carved a niche for himself by essaying versatile characters recently opened up about working on Hindi projects. The actor remarked, the Hindi audience respects him based on the kind of actors he is working with.At the trailer launch event of his upcoming web series ‘Farzi’, he said, “Whoever asks me that I am doing a Hindi project, I have to say I am working with Shahid then only they say, I am working with Shah Rukh sir, I am working with Katrina Kaif, then only they respect me. So, it depends on the artist who I’m working with.”The Vikram actor was asked if he felt insecure about being in a series, where Shahid is also a parallel lead. The actor said, “I don’t look at it that way. I’ve worked in so many films. Every film is a multi-starrer. There is not only one star in any film. Here also I respect Amol (Palekar) so much, then Bhuvan (Arora). It’s not only Shahid. No one comes here to compete with one another. We all cooperate and work together. There is no winning. I don’t believe in winning, I enjoy the game. There is a lot of sharing and learning. I am not insecure. I did a negative role in my third film. The director asked me if I was sure about it, but I did it. I only want to work with super-talented actors from whom I can learn. You can’t learn everything and come. Life is like catch and throw. That is the only way to learn.”Helmed by Raj and DK, ‘Farzi’ will feature veteran actor Amol Palekar, Kay Kay Menon, and Raashi Khanna amongst others. The web series will start premiering on Prime Video from February 10.Apart from ‘Farzi’, Sethupathi also has Sundeep Kishan’s Michael, ‘Merry Christmas’, co-starring Katrina Kaif, and Shah Rukh Khan's pan-Indian film ‘Jawan’ in the pipeline.
