After rounds of speculation, #VD11, the Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha film had launched yesterday. However, actress Samantha was not able to attend the puja ceremony as she was vacationing in Dubai. To not make her feel left out, Vijay Deverakonda had photoshopped the actress into a picture along with actors Vennela Kishore and Rahul Ramakrishna, who are also a part of the film, but were not able to attend the film's launch. Comically, he had also requested the media to circulate the 'real' image instead of the original images.

The Shiva Nirvana directorial is set to start shooting soon. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is reportedly set to unfold in the backdrop of Kashmir, with Vijay playing an army officer. Apparently, the movie is a beautiful love story and set to have picturesque visuals.
