‘Kabzaa’ marks the second collaboration between the two Kannada superstars‘Real Star’ Upendra and Kichcha Sudeep have teamed up a second time for the pan-Indian film Kabzaa. The two previously worked together in the blockbuster ‘Mukunda Murari’, the Kannada remake of ‘OMG - Oh My God’. Fans of the star are excited to witness their dynamic on the screen once more. The makers today announced the official release date for the movie, March 17. The release date is an ode to the late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar who passed away in 2021. He had visited the sets of the bloody action drama set in the underworld era of 1942-84 Indian gangsters were on the rise. The director R Chandru explained the reason behind the choice of release date, “Puneeth (Rajkumar) often frequented the sets during the shoot, and had wanted to release its teaser and trailer. His legacy prevails, and this (date) is in his fond memory, and because it is Ugadi; Kabzaa will be our New Year gift to cinema lovers.”‘Kabzaa’ will release in seven languages Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Oriya and Marathi. The film stars Shriya Saran as the female lead. Ravi Basrur, who provided the music for the KGF series, will also be composing the tunes for ‘Kabzaa’.
