Ravi Teja’s first pan-India action thriller will be releasing in the theatres on October 20This morning, Ravi Teja and the team of Tiger Nageswara Rao have headed to Mumbai for the film’s trailer launch event, and a glimpse into the world of Tiger was unveiled at 2:07 pm. The trailer was released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.Set in the backdrop of 1970s Stuartpuram, the trailer shows the crude and cruel world of the ‘Crime Capital of South India’, where feudal-lord-like men bid for their territories of crime. It’s a region where children are taught to steal, not to study, men are enslaved to loot, and women are mere flesh. There comes the ‘hero’ who has ‘hunger for power’, ‘greed for women’ and ‘lust for money’, to stand strong against the oppressive regime of Yelamanda (Harish Peradi) in Stuartpuram. He’s Nageswara Rao (Ravi Teja) and his moniker changes from ‘Stuartpuram’ to ‘Tiger’ along with his journey, where he falls in love, gives tough time to a blood-thirsty policeman (Jisshu Sengupta) and even challenges a social reformer named Hemalatha Lavanam (Renu Desai). We see Tiger’s journey as part of an IB officer’s quest to know about a criminal ‘who has written so much crime literature in 25 years’. However, we’re left with the one major question by the end of the trailer - “What’s the connection between Tiger and PM’s personal security?” and we see Tiger Nageswara Rao wearing a turban. Does it ring any bell? If not, let’s wait for October 20 to witness the massive pan-India film on the big screens.Directed by Vamsee and produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts, ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ stars Ravi Teja, Nupur Sanon, Gayatri Bharadwaj, Anupam Kher and Renu Desai in lead roles, while we see Harish Peradi, Murali Sharma, Jisshu Sengupta. Sudev Nair, and Anukeerthy Vyas in pivotal characters.Watch the Trailer here:
