Netflix acquires the streaming rights to the romantic drama starring Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya LekshmiTamil hero Vishnu Vishal has a knack for picking different kinds of films. His latest film Matti Kusthi (Gatta Kusthi in Tamil), starring Aishwarya Lekshmi as the heroine, released on December 2 and did decent business in Telugu and was declared a hit in Tamil. Vishnu Vishal produced the film along with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja.Directed by Chella Ayyavu, the plot of the film revolves around a couple who are complete opposites: While Vishnu Vishal is a male chauvinist with a preconceived set of notions, his wife is a woman with an independent bent of mind who hides the truth from him for the sake of getting married. What happens between them once he gets to know her real nature is what the movie is all about.The digital rights to ‘Matti Kusthi’ have been acquired by Netflix, which will start streaming the film in Tamil and Telugu from January 1. Reportedly made on a budget of around Rs 30 crore (including the Telugu and Tamil versions), ‘Matti Kusthi’ has cinematography by Richard M Nathan and music by Justin Prabhakaran.
