Former Vice President Calls 'Sita Ramam' a must-watch for everyone

The audience and critics are falling in love with the epic love saga Sita Ramam. The film not only did well at the box office but has garnered positive reviews from across quarters. 'Sita Ramam' hit theatres in cinemas on August 5 and is running to packed theatres. According to the makers, the Hanu Raghavapudi directorial has grossed INR 50 crore worldwide. Now, former Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu has also shared his views on the film. Venkaiah Naidu praised actors Dulquer Salmaan, Rashmika Mandanna, and Mrunal Thakur’s film ‘Sita Ramam’ and called it a must-watch for everyone.

Taking to Twitter, Venkaih Naidu shared posters of the movie and wrote in Telugu, “Watched the movie 'Sitaram'. With the coordination of the actors and the technical departments, a beautiful scene has unfolded. Unlike a simple love story, with a heroic soldier background added to it, this film unleashes a range of emotions and is a must-watch for everyone.”
In another tweet, he wrote, “'Sitharam' gave me the feeling of watching a good movie after a long time. Congratulations to the film team including director Mr. Hanu Raghavapudi, producer Mr. Ashwini Dutt and Swapna Movie Makers for discovering the beauty of nature that is soothing to the eyes without the sounds of war.”

Mahanati actor Dulquer Salmaan, who was the lead of Mani Ratnam's Ok Bangaram, reacted to the politician's tweets and replied, "Heartfelt gratitude sir!!!".

'Sitaramam' female lead Mrunal wrote, “Thank so much Sir,”

Set in the 1960s, the story takes place during the period of war in the 1960s with Kashmir as the backdrop. The film captures the journey of Lieutenant Ram, played by Dulquer, who sets on a journey to find Sita Mahalakshmi, played by Mrunal, to propose his love for her.
