'Baddest Man of The Planet' Mike Tyson finished dubbing for his part in the Vijay Deverakonda's Liger Puri Jagannadh's upcoming sports action drama, Liger made news when the makers of the film announced that they have roped in the former professional boxer Mike Tyson for a pivotal role. The team traveled to Los Angeles to shoot the schedule starring the boxer and returned to India, following which they have finished all the principal photography and started the post-production formalities. Earlier it was reported that actor Nandamuri Balakrishna was set to dub for Tyson’s role. However, the makers of the film took to social media to confirm that Mike has finished the dubbing formalities himself. In a video byte released by Tyson after wrapping up his portion for the film, he said "Thank you very much for being kind to me. I’m very grateful." For the unversed, Mike Tyson is debuting in Indian cinema with this pan-Indian film. The film also stars Vijay Deverakonda, and Bollywood actress Ananya Panday in the lead roles along with Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishna in pivotal characters. The Puri Jagannadh directorial is produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banners Puri Connects and Dharma Productions. The film is scheduled to be released on August 25, 2022.
