Superstar's #SSMB28 Clashes With The Pan-India Stars' Releases For Sankranti 2024

#SSMB28's release date announced; clashes with the release of 'Project K' and ‘Game Changer’

Clash of the stars movies in the festival seasons are a thing of excitement in the film industry. On Sankranti this year, the movie goers witnessed a competition between Megastar's ‘Waltair Veerayya’, NBK’s ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ and Vijay's ‘Vaarusudu’. Though Ajith Kumar's ‘Tegimpu’ also released at the same time, it couldn't fare well at the box office. Next year Sankranti too will be a feast for the fans of superstars, this time it's going to be Mahesh Babu Vs Prabhas Vs Ram Charan. 

All the leading men are set to clash at the box office next year. Today on March 26, Mahesh Babu announced the release date of his upcoming film #SSMB28, leaving the fans excited. Dropping his first look from the Trivikram directorial, the actor revealed that the film will hit the theaters on January 13, 2024.  The actor can be seen wearing a rugged chequered shirt, sporting uber cool shades and smoking a cigarette as he walks on the street in a massy class avatar.

Interestingly, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone's highly anticipated film ‘Project K’ is scheduled to release on January 12, 2024, just a day before #SSMB28. Not just this, Dil Raju, who is backing Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ hinted that Charan's upcoming film is also gearing up for a Sankranti release. Now, this is one of a BO clash that every fan would like to witness.

For the unversed, #SSMB28 has been postponed multiple times. Earlier it was announced that the film will release on April 28, 2023, clashing with Mani Ratnam’s period action drama ‘PS-2’, then the release date was changed to August 11, 2023, locking horns with ‘Animal’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’. Now, it's finalised that the film with hit the silver screens during Sankranti 2024.

After escaping a series of clashes, it would be interesting to see how the film competes with the films of other superstars.
