According to sources, the makers of the upcoming film 'Pushpa: The Rule' are set to rope in popular bollywood actor Suniel Shetty for an important role Icon Star Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise turned out to be a blockbuster, despite limited promotions in other states, especially in the Hindi belt. Director Sukumar is now working on the sequel ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ which is soon set to go on floors. The film is currently in the pre-production stage, and the makers are planning to make it bigger and better than the first part. After the success of the film in the North, the makers are reportedly looking to cast Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty to further appeal to the audience there. It is said that Suneil Shetty will be playing the role of a senior officer, who is the head to SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (played by Fahadh Faasil), who is the cop that takes on the red sandalwood smuggler Pushpa (played by Allu Arjun). Suniel Shetty had also appeared in front of the Telugu audience in supporting roles for the films Ghani, Mosagallu, therefore he is a known face to the Telugu industry as well. Rashmika Mandanna is set to reprise her role as Srivalli for the sequel. The film will start rolling in June, and Allu Arjun will join the sets of the film in July.
