The ‘Michael’ actor talks about staying united in an age of global cinema Sundeep Kishan made his debut with the movie Prasthanam, 12 years later, he is headlining his first pan-Indian movie titled Michael. The movie is an action-drama for which Sundeep underwent a remarkable physical transformation. The movie will release on February 3, 2023. In a promotional interview with print media, the Venkatadri Express actor talked about filming the movie and the global appeal of cinema.Speaking about the physical transformation for ‘Michael’, Sundeep said, “I lived as Michael for more than a year, and it was tough for me to come out of the character… The character is raw, realistic, and at the same time very idealistic.” He heaped praises on Vijay Sethupathi, “He is an extraordinary performer who understands what the writer is trying to convey. He and Ranjit (Jeyakodi) share great chemistry, and they know each other so well. People will celebrate his role in the film.”Lastly, he talked about how cinema is breaking the boundaries of language, “It’s surprising at times to see Tamil and Telugu fans stay divided on Twitter. We need to understand that we are all in this together, as many international companies are coming to invest here, understanding the market down south. We are being honoured and recognised both in the north and on a global scale. We should concentrate on doing the kind of films that pull in the crowd together.”
