Mahesh Babu's 'SSMB28' To NOT Lock Horns With 'PS-2', next schedule to begin on this dateSuperstar Mahesh Babu is reuniting with filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas for the third time after Athadu and Khaleja, for his much-awaited 28th film tentatively titled SSMB28. Fans are waiting with bated breath for the update relating to the film which is being delayed for a long time. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, who is bankrolling the highly ambitious project dropped major updates about the Trivikram directorial. In a recent interview with star anchor Suma, the producer revealed that the next schedule for the film will begin on January 18. He also added that the title of the film hasn’t been decided yet.Vamsi further informed that the film will hit the big screens on August 11. For the unversed, the film was initially slated to release on the same date as Mahesh Babu’s cult classic film Pokiri i.e. April 28, 2023. But now as the film is postponed the netizens are assuming the film might be delayed owing to the massive box office clash with Mani Ratnam’s PS-2 which is also scheduled to release on April 28.There is no first lead and second lead, both Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela are the leading ladies in the film confirmed the producer.Check out the video here: Twitter The post-theatrical streaming rights of ‘SSMB28’ has been acquired by the OTT giant Netflix. The exciting update was announced by Netflix India South through their official Twitter handle, on January 14. The film which marks Mahesh Babu’s debut pan-Indian will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada.S Thaman is on board as the music director while Anbu-Arivu, the famous action choreographer who are best known for their exceptional work in films such as Vikram, and KGF are handling the stunt choreography.
