Director Pradeep Varma describes his film as a fitting tribute to honest police officers Actor Sree Vishnu will next be seen in the role of a police offer named 'Alluri Seetha Rama Raju' in the cop drama titled ‘Alluri’. Directed by Pradeep Varma and produced by Bekkem Venugopal, the ‘first look’ of the film was unveiled on Friday. The poster depicts a Sree Vishnu in a cop's uniform, holding a revolver in his hand amidst a heavy downpour in the backdrop of a moody visual of a police car. The tagline ‘Nijayathiki Maaru Peru’ (A synonym for sincerity) is a hint toward his dominant personality trait in the film. Speaking about the film, director Pradeep Varma said, “I did a lot of research to tell the story of an honest cop on celluloid. His journey starts from the day he takes charge as a Sub-Inspector and we’ll get to see the kinds of situations he goes through, the sacrifices he makes and the kinds of pressures he faces from his superiors and society. He brings about a huge change in the mindset of the entire police department with his revolutionary ideas. ‘Alluri’ is a fitting tribute to those honest police officers to whom duty always comes first.” Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead opposite Sree Vishnu and actor Suman will be seen in a pivotal role in the movie that has music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. Apart from one song, the shooting of the film is complete.
