Sravanthi Ravi Kishore's 'Kida' Honoured With 'Best Film Award'

After receiving a standing ovation at the International Film Festival (Goa), Team ‘Kida’ bags two more awards at Chennai 20th International Film Festival
Renowned Tollywood producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore’s debut Tamil film ‘Keeda’ has bagged another accolade after getting screened at the International Film Festival Of India, which was recently held in Goa. Now, the movie has secured the ‘Best Film’ award at the 20th Chennai International Film Festival.
Keeda’s director RV Venkat and producer Ravi Kishore were honoured with a cash prize of ₹1 lakh each. The film's producer Ravi Kishore expressed his delight after ‘Keeda’ was honoured at the Film Festival. Poo Ramu, who essayed the lead role in ‘Keeda’, also won the ‘Best Actor’ award at the event. Set against a rural backdrop, ‘Keeda’ focuses on the life of a grandfather and grandson and their pet goat. It's a unique tale of love, apart from being a family drama.
Ravi Kishore conversed with the media and remarked, “Earlier, we screened Keeda at the Indian Panorama as part of this year’s International Film Festival of India held in Goa. Soon after the screening, we were given a standing ovation. Now, the movie receiving the Best Picture award at the Chennai International Film Festival has brought us immense pride. As a team, we are extremely delighted. We will release the movie soon in theatres and the works for the same are underway.”
