During a promotional interview for his upcoming film 'Rocketry', Madhavan revealed that Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya haven't charged a penny for their appearances in the film Pan-Indian actor Madhavan is all set to make his directorial debut with ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, a biopic on celebrated Indian scientist and aerospace engineer of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). Apart from producing the film, Madhavan is also playing the titular role. Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya have agreed to make guest appearances in the Hindi and Tamil versions of the film. Apparently, both the superstars are playing themselves on screen. During a promotional interview for the film, Madhavan revealed that neither Shah Rukh Khan nor Suriya charged anything for the film. “They didn’t charge anything even for the caravans, costumes or assistants,” said the actor. As for Suriya, he flew to Mumbai with his crew to shoot for the film and paid for the whole thing out of his own pocket including the services of the dialogue writer who translated his lines from Hindi to Tamil. ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is releasing worldwide on July 1, 2022.
