Telugu Film Industry’s Senior Actor Mannava Balayya has passed away today morning on his 92nd birthday Telugu Film Industry faced yet another inconsolable loss with the passing away of Mannava Balayya. He is one of the most respected veteran personalities of the industry who worked in over 300 films. In his career spanning over seven decades, he has not only entertained us on screen but also off screen. He was a producer, director and a storywriter as well. The actor has received many accolades and praises throughout his career. Mannava Balayya was born on April 9, 1930, in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. During his engineering days, he found his love for acting through various stage performances, and with the help of veteran director Tapi Chanakya, he ventured into films and made his identity. He is also one of the few artistes to have worked with different generations of actors over his career span and the modern-day movie buffs might best remember him for his grandfather roles in Nagarjuna and Sonali Bendre's Manmadhudu and Venkatesh and Katrina Kaif’s Malliswari. It is reported that the late actor was suffering from ill health for the past couple of days and had passed away this morning. Today also happens to be the veteran actor's birthday. Mannava Balayya is survived by his wife Kamala Devi, and his kids Thulasi Ram Prasad, Mohini Latha and Harsha Latha.
