The actress has been keeping away from social media ever since she announced that she is suffering from myositis. Recently, the actress finally returned to Twitter to chat with fans after a long break. But one tweet caught everyone’s attention. A fan shared a picture of two film posters. The posters in the picture were of Connect, starring her ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ co-star Nayanthara, and Trisha’s ‘Raangi’. Sharing the picture, the fan tweeted, “Passing by the Vettri theatre in Chromepet (in Chennai), my sister and I realised it had the banners of all the movies with a woman lead. What a long way Tamil cinema has come! 10 years back this would have been unimaginable."Retweeting it, the Yashoda actress replied, “Women Rising!!” However, a troll replied, "Yes.just to fall."Now Samantha’s classic yet epic reply is winning netizens’ hearts. She replied, “Getting back up makes it all the more sweeter, my friend.” A fan also asked her about how life has been lately. Samantha confessed her life has been different lately. During the chat session, she also revealed that “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s No Woman No Cry” has helped her get through the tough days.On the professional front, Samantha will be next seen in Shiva Nirvana’s rom-com Kushi in which she is paired with Vijay Deverakonda. She also has Shaakuntalam, a mythological drama written and directed by Gunasekhar (of Rudhramadevi fame), in her kitty. ‘Shaakuntalam’ will hit the big screens on February 17. Sam will make her Hollywood debut with BAFTA (British Academy Film Awards)-winning director, Philip John (of ‘Downtown Abbey' fame). The film is based on the novel ‘Arrangements of Love’.
