Sai Pallavi shared a clarification video on her comments on the Kashmiri Pandits Genocide and Mob Lynching incidents during the pandemic, reinforcing her belief in peace, equality and non-violence Actress Sai Pallavi is one of the most popular actresses down South and she has garnered the love and attention of people all over India after the sensational success of the "Rowdy Baby" song and for turning down a lucrative fairness cream advertisement offer for a renowned brand. However, the star heroine's recent comments on violence in the name of religion made her seem like a villain to some people when she drew a parallel between the 'Kashmiri Pandits Genocide' and the 'Mob Lynching' incidents that happened during the pandemic. Sai Pallavi questioned the notion of resorting to violence in the name of religion and said that neither the violence against Kashmiri Pandits nor against the Muslim man transporting cows in recent times is justifiable. Since she gave her opinion in a language other than the one she's well-versed in, many people misinterpreted and misunderstood her, although she seemed to choose her words carefully. While many people said they understood her genuine intentions and praised the 'Virata Parvam' actress for speaking her mind, some of them criticised her and made personal attacks. Yet, standing her ground, Sai Pallavi released a clarification video on her social media platforms an hour ago, in which she clearly stated that both the horrific incidents had a deep impact on her and said "I don't think any of us have the right to take another person's life. Being a medical graduate, I believe that all lives are equal and all lives are important". She also iterated that it was upsetting to see many prominent personalities and news channels misquoting her words without even watching the full interview. However, she thanked all the people who stood by her and bolstered her beliefs. After watching the video, many people from different parts of India have been lauding her and hailing her as a "True Powerstar" for her views on peace and non-violence.
