Apparently, Prashanth Neel wanted to reshoot some action episodes and hence the hike in budget The latest update regarding the much anticipated Prabhas-Prashanth venture Salaar is that the budget of the film has been hiked by Rs 40 Crores. Apparently, the producers are fine with the hike. According to the producers, Hombale Films, “Prabhas is the hero of the No 1 film in Indian history, ‘Baahubali 2’, and Prashanth Neel is the director of the No 2 film in Indian History, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’. When two such titans come together, obviously the additional expense for quality is not at all an issue". Apparently, Prashanth Neel wanted to reshoot two action episodes in order to give the audiences a visual spectacle and this necessitated the extra expenditure. The budget for ‘Salaar’ is reportedly Rs 200 crore. It has now shot up to Rs 240 crore and so have the expectations!
