RRR will be screened in more than hundred theatres in the US for one night on June 1, 2022 For Rajamouli, Ram Charan and NTR fans in the US who for some inexplicable reason missed the theatrical run of the film there, here’s some good news. RRR will be screened in more than a hundred theatres on the night of June 1, including Alamo Drafthouse Locations and New York City’s IFC Center. There has been renewed interest in the film after it was conclusively established that ‘RRR’ is the second highest-grossing Indian film ever in the US after ‘Baahubali 2’, which incidentally was also made by SS Rajamouli. This will be the last theatrical screening of ‘RRR’ as Netflix, which has acquired the streaming rights to the film, will soon start airing it in various languages with subtitles including English, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Hindi. The special screenings on June 1 is presented by Variance Films and Potentate Films with Sarigama Cinemas. “America has embraced ‘RRR’ as its own and crossing borders, the love that the American audience has shown our film has been gratifying. Excited that they get to relive the experience at the re-release, thanks to Variance and Potentate,” said SS Rajamouli in a statement.
