Gopichand Malineni to make his Bollywood debut with the remakeAfter a series of duds at the box-office, Ravi Teja finally came up with a blockbuster Krack, which released on January 9, 2021. Starring Shruti Haasan as the female lead and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Samuthirakani in major roles, ‘Krack’ directed by Gopichand Malineni depicts the conflict between a cop and a gangster. The Hindi remake rights of the movie rest with Mythri Movie Makers, who have signed Ranveer Singh for the lead role. Gopichand Malineni has an obligation to the production house and will be directing the Hindi remake of ‘Krack’, which will mark his debut in Bollywood. Incidentally, he has completed shooting Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy for Mythri Movie Makers, and the movie is releasing for Sankranthi on January 12. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has also given the nod to another South Indian director Shankar, and will be collaborating with the latter for a Pan-Indian trilogy based on the Tamil novel ‘Velpari’. The first part is likely to go on floors in the early part of 2023.
