At the pre-release event of the upcoming film 'Acharya', SS Rajamouli praises Ram Charan on his career growth and his work ethic SS Rajamouli praised Ram Charan, at the pre-release event of Acharya, for his growth as an actor. He said “When I first narrated the story of Magadheera to Chiranjeevi, he said he would speak with Charan. I naturally assumed that he guides Charan in all aspects of his career, but I was wrong! Chiranjeevi never advises Charan on the scriptshe picks or the movies he signed. He let Charan evolve by himself, and whatever Ram Charan is today, it is because of his own hard work and efforts. Charan made mistakes on his own, learnt from them and grew as an actor which is a fantastic thing”. Responding to this, Ram Charan said, “What Rajamouli said is absolutely true. My father never took any decisions for me regarding my career. Even when a film of mine failed and I was apprehensive about his reaction, he would not say anything”. He further added, “Whenever my film succeeded, he used to praise me and also express his proudness in front of other people. He never taught me to be a specific way. But, one thing he did make sure to teach me was giving respect to elders. Whenever top directors like Raghavendra Rao or others came to our house, he would make me touch their feet and seek their blessings. I feel blessed to be born as his son.”
