Srikanth Bolla made headlines when he became the first international student with visual impairment to study at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US. By no means was it an easy journey for Srikanth who was denied permission to study science after Class X and had to fight a long legal battle with the government to fulfill his dream. Now a successful entrepreneur whose company Bollant Industries founded with a seed amount of Rs 10 lakh and is now valued at Rs 500 crore, Srikanth employs his peers at his company and ensures that physical disability is absolutely no hindrance to them in realising their true potential in life. Director of ‘Saand Ki Aankh’, Tushar Hiranandani who is also the writer for movies like ‘Bachchan Pandey’, is now producing a biopic on the life of Srikanth Bolla. Rajkumar Rao will be playing the lead role. According to Srikanth, he was initially hesitant about a biopic on him as he felt that he still had a long way to go but he caved in to the persistence of Tushar Hiranandani. "I also met Rajkumar Rao in Mumbai and feel that he is the right person for the role," said the inspirational human being.
