Om Raut's highly anticipated movie will be screened under the 'Escape From Tribeca' section on this datePrabhas’ magnum opus, ‘Adipurush’ is set to have its world premiere at the 2023 edition of the Tribeca Film Festival. The film festival will be held in New York from June 7 to June 18. The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro, and Craig Hatkoff.The highly anticipated movie will be screened under the 'Escape From Tribeca' section alongside ‘Enter the Clones of Bruce’, ‘Final Cut’, and ‘Suitable Flesh’. Bruce Lee's ‘Enter the Dragon’ will also be screened as part of the film's 50th anniversary. The synopsis of ‘Adipurush’ on the official website of Tribeca Festival read "Reimagining the epic Indian poem 'Ramayana', the big-budgeted visual feast Adipurush tells the tale of a prince on a mission to rescue his wife from a ten-headed demon overlord".The makers announced the happy news via social media. Dropping a new poster from the film they wrote, “Ab Vishwa me dekhenge Bharat ki kahani! Post the negative reviews, the makers promised to rework on the project, which is why the release date of 'Adipurush' was pushed from January to June 2023.Prabhas' much-awaited film was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi and dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series, the mythological drama based on the renowned Sanskrit epic ‘Ramayan’, is slated for release on June 16, 2023.
