Sree Vishnu-starrer 'Bhala Thandanana' is directed by Chaitanya Dantuluri, with whom he shares a bond of nearly 14 years Actor Sree Vishnu and director Chaitanya Dantuluri have worked together on Bhala Thandanana which is releasing today on May 6, 2022. But even off-screen, the duo have been good friends for the better part of fourteen years. Sree Vishnu revealed this information during a promotional interview for the film. “My first dialogue I uttered as an actor was for the film 'Baanam' directed by Chaitanya. It was in Vizag. I played a small role in that film which released in 2009. Now, after nearly 14 years, I am playing the hero in his direction. I cannot explain this feeling except to say that it indicates the strength of our friendship,” said the actor. Incidentally, the baddie in the film is played by Ramachandra Raju who became popular all over the nation after his performance as Garuda in the smash hit ‘KGF: Chapter 1’. The story of the film revolves around a Rs 2000 Crores ‘hawala’ scam in which the hero gets entangled because of the leading lady of the film, Catherine Tresa who plays an investigative journalist. How, the hero overcomes the villains and protects his lady love forms the crux of ‘Bhala Thandanana’.
