The star actress heaped praises on Gunasekhar after watching the mythological drama for the first time‘Shaakuntalam’ starring Samantha and Dev Mohan in the lead roles, has been in the making for a long time now. Since the moment it was announced, fans have been eager to watch their beloved star as a mythological queen on screen. Unfortunately, the film was delayed several times due to various reasons and will finally be released on April 14, 2023. Today, Samantha revealed that the film's final edit has been completed and that she watched the movie. She took to Twitter to share a picture from what looks like a private screening attended by her, along with presenter Dil Raju, director Gunasekhar and producer Neelima Guna. The movie boasts of a versatile ensemble cast, including Mohan Babu, Jisshu Sengupta, Sachin Khedekar, Madhoobala, and Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha, who is making her Tollywood debut with the film.The movie will lock horns with the Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Bholaa Shankar’, which is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster ‘Vedalam’ starring Ajith Kumar, and Allari Naresh’s Ugram, both of which are slated for a theatrical release on the same day.
