The actor is garnering praise for his first look, in which he is seen in a saree and gold jewellery. Wearing a garland of lemons, he's seen holding a gun in one of his hands and standing in Pushpa Raj's signature pose. The Sukumar directorial is a sequel to the pan-Indian blockbuster, Pushpa: The Rise (2021), which is the story of a daily labourer who rises to the top in the power-hungry world of red sandalwood smuggling. Apart from Allu Arjun, actors Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil will also reprise their roles in Part 2 as Srivalli and DSP Bhanwar Singh, respectively. The film is expected to release in early 2024.
