NTR's upcoming movie is slated to release on April 5, 2024
Jr NTR-Koratala Siva’s much-awaited project NTR30 opening ceremony which was scheduled for February 24 has been postponed following the demise of NTR’s cousin and actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna. Taraka was undergoing treatment at the Narayana Hrudyalaya, Bengaluru following complications after cardiac arrest, passed away on February 18 at the age of 39. Cousins NTR, Kalyan Ram, and uncle Balakrishna visited the actor in Bengaluru while he was undergoing treatment.
Releasing a press note the makers announced that the ‘NTR30’ opening ceremony has been postponed. The note read, “#NTR30 opening ceremony which was scheduled to happen on Feb 24th stands postponed due to an unfortunate development in the family of #NTR and #NKR. A new date will be announced at a later point in time.” The film will hit the big screens on April 5, 2024
Art director Sabu Cyril, who is known for building larger-than-life sets for blockbusters like RRR, the Baahubali series, and Robo, is working on the film's production design while R Rathnavelu has been roped in as the DoP (director of photography). Popular music composer and playback singer, Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the tunes for NTR's film, which will be their first collaboration. The female lead in the film is yet to be announced. As per the grapevine, Janhvi Kapoor has been locked as the heroine.
Speculations are also rife, Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram, who was last seen in magnum opus PS-1, and Adipurush actor Saif Ali Khan are approached to play pivotal roles in the film. ‘NTR30’ will be produced by Harikrishna K of NTR Arts and Mikkilineni Sudhakar of Yuvasudha Arts.
