Trisha says she isn’t interested in politics at allTrisha who dazzled one and all with her portrayal of ‘Kundavai’ in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan has cleared the air on rumours surrounding her political entry.Trisha who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Raangi that is releasing on December 30 denied speculation that she is about to join a National Party and contest the 2024 polls. “I don’t have even 1 percent interest in politics,” said Trisha in an interview to a major news outlet.She also avoided questions on her marriage and requested the media to refrain from questioning her on that aspect. For the record, Trisha was engaged to a Tamil Nadu businessman Varun Manian in the past but the marriage was called off following differences between the two. Rumours then surfaced of Trisha being in a relationship with Rana Daggubati but nothing came off it either and Rana ended up getting married to his long time friend Miheeka Bajaj. Meanwhile, Raangi is special in that it showcases Trisha in the role of a journalist doing some extremely difficult action sequences. The movie is directed by M Saravanan.
