After rumors of re-shoot of Megastar's Acharya started surfacing, director Koratala Siva shuts them down saying no re-shoot took place
The most awaited Acharya, starring Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde and Kajal Agarwal, is finally releasing on April 29, after the delay due to COVID-19 pandemic, and the promotions for the film have started. For a long time, there have been rumours that a major part of the film was reshot by director Koratala Siva, and finally, he clarified on the same.
“First of all, what is wrong to go for a reshoot? Doing so doesn’t mean that you were wrong or what you have shot is not up to the mark. When there is an option of improving a scene, dialogue or character is available, it is common sense to make use of the opportunity, so as to enhance the final value of the product,” said Koratala Siva and emphasized on the fact that Acharya was not reshot.
Produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy, Acharya is reportedly based on the Naxalite movement in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh led by poet and cultural activist Subbarao Panigrahi.
