The versatile actress bagged the ‘Best Actress' Award at CCA 2023, while Gargi won the ‘Gender Sensitivity Award’The Critics Choice Awards (CCA) 2023 was held in Mumbai recently and celebrities from all the film industries, including Ajay Devgn, Rishab Shetty and Sai Pallavi, have graced the star-studded event.The 'Lady Power Star' was honoured with the Critics Choice Award in the category of ‘Best Actress In A Feature Film’ for her critically acclaimed movie 'Gargi'. The actress was nominated alongside other talented actresses, including Nithya Menen, Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah and Revathi.In her award acceptance speech, Sai Pallavi said, “This means a lot to me, and I am so humbled to be here and experience all the love... Thank you so much for this again. As I said, this is a validation, and I think I would like to do more such films that make me get all this love from you guys.”Sai Pallavi played the titular role in ‘Gargi’, which is a legal drama based on the themes of child sexual abuse and gender sensitivity. Helmed by Gautham Ramachandran, the film also won the ‘Gender Sensitivity Award’.Apart from Sai Pallavi, Rishab Shetty won the ‘Best Actor’ Award for his blockbuster film ‘Kantara’.
