As a part of the ongoing promotions for the film 'Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam', the lead actor Vishwak Sen gives an exclusive interview Young hero Vishwak Sen is seeing a busy year on the professional front as he is currently working on multiple projects and shooting back-to-back. While the actor is usually known for playing a mass character, he is set to appear in an innocent and a docile character named Arjun Kumar Allam, in his upcoming film Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam. The film is set to hit the theaters tomorrow, and he is currently promoting the film vigorously. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the film reach the audience. As a part of the promotional rounds, the actor was seen giving an exclusive interview to the print media. Vishwak Sen was asked how the role of Arjun Kumar Allam found him, to which he replied "I was actually on the look-out for an action film, and not a romantic film. But the film's director Vidyasagar Chinta and writer Ravi Kiran Kola found Arjun in me and told me about it, but I wasn't too keen on it. However, after I heard the story I couldn't stop myself and I signed this film. It's a story in the likes of Malliswari, Ninne Pelladatha, Chandamama, Bommarillu, and Nuvvu Naaku Nachaav, basically a proper family entertainer". On being asked if there were any challenges he had faced to get into the character, Vishwak said "I think the biggest challenge I had for this role was the weight issue. For the role, the director had asked me to put on about 10 Kgs. Putting on weight is never a problem but the problem arises when it's time to lose that weight. So I told the director, that I can't put on 10 Kgs but I'd rather put on 7 Kgs, and I performed the role after putting on 7 Kgs. I didn't have any other challenges as such, because I had to take a workshop for my debut film 'Vellipomakey', which really helped me prepare for this role". On his personal front, Vishwak Sen said that he has a good impression on marriage and mentioned that he would like to get married before he turns 30. While talking about his career and future projects, he said "I have a few projects lined up. I am currently writing the story for a Pan-Indian film titled 'Mass Ka Dass', which will start by the time I turn the age of 29. Apart from that, I am planning to act and direct in a film titled Dhamki. Also, I am currently working on the Sahith directorial titled 'Student Zindabad', and my film Ori Devudo is set for release". Vishwak Sen was recently in the news for a debate that took an ugly turn. He was asked to get out of the studio by anchor Devi Nagavalli of TV9, after the HIT actor defended himself against the apparent defamation inflicted by the journalist. It is also said that he, reportedly, filed a civil suit against the anchor over the issue. While he had spoken about it during the pre-release event, he had also mentioned the issue during the interview. He said "As part of the promotions, we made sure to do everything possible including the prank video. While the other promotions are not being mentioned, just this one is being mentioned. Even if that's okay, everything apart from the movie is being discussed, so I have decided not to do those experiments anymore". Co-starring Rukhsar Dhillon in the lead role, AVAK is directed by Vidyasagar Chinta, and produced by Bapineedu B, and Sudheer Edara under the banner of SVCC Digital
