Major is Making Headlines: After Big B and Pawan Kalyan, It's Maharashtra CM Now!

Adivi Sesh starrer 'Major' has caught the attention of everyone, including celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Pawan Kalyan and even the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray

Based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan whose selfless act of bravery during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks saved the lives of many, the film Major has garnered huge applause from all corners and has done pretty well at the box-office too. Many lauded the efforts of Adivi Sesh, Sashi Kiran Tikka and the producers for picturising the inspiring life of an Indian Army officer who sacrificed his life for the people of his nation.

Even many celebrities appreciated the film and Sesh for his work. The 'Kshanam' actor was especially elated when the 'Shahenshah of Bollywood', Amitabh Bachchan, has tweeted about the film and sent his best regards to the team, and the Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan has released a special appreciation note for the Team of 'Major' and all the creative minds behind it.

Pawan Kalyan wished that there should be more people like Adivi Sesh coming to the industry and has congratulated Sashi Kiran Tikka for telling the story of a brave soldier on the celluloid. He desired the making of many such inspiring films.

                                            

Then on Monday, actor-writer Adivi Sesh, director Sashi Kiran and actress Saiee Manjrekar have met the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray, who congratulated the team on the film's success and has agreed to support the 'Major Promise Fund' which was created to aid and encourage the NDA aspirants. The meeting was facilitated by the noted actor Mahesh Manjrekar.

'Major' has earned more than 1 Million USD at the US box-office alone.
