Krishna Vamsi has been regularly sharing the recording sessions of Ilaiyaraaja from the film, on social media. They both are collaborating again long after their first film together, Antahpuram (1998), in which the songs "Asalem Gurthukuraadhu" and "Shivametthara Sambayya" are still popular among Telugu music lovers. ‘Natasamrat’ depicts the family life of an actor who has retired from stage but is unable to get over his affection for theatre and its ambience.
