A Twitter user drew a comparison between Ram Charan’s introduction and a fight scene from 2009 ‘Mahatma’RRR is one of the biggest movies of the year 2022. The SS Rajamouli directorial has become an international success and received acclaim from international critics’ associations. A scene that has been touted as the most goosebump-inducing moment is the introduction of Ram Charan’s character ‘Ramaraju’. In the introduction scene, a large crowd is gathered in protest outside of a police station. When a riot is about to break out, ‘Ramaraju’ jumps over the fence to single-handedly bring the crowd under control. Rajamouli described the fight scene as one of the toughest parts to film. Today, a Twitter user shared a scene from the 2009 Mahatma directed by Krishna Vamsi and compared it to ‘RRR’. In the 2009 movie, Srikanth, the lead actor similarly breaks apart a riot group. The Twitter user, @hereiamsri, said, “the much talked/hyped @AlwaysRamCharan intro from #RRR mob fight sequence.,actually in the same way @director_kv tried nd executed way back in 2009 for #mahatma movie in his own style,the whole sequence is crazy,creative director ani urikey anaru @director_kv 👏🏻 (sic)” Twitter Krishna Vamsi replied to the tweet saying, “THQ somuch andi.. so kind of u .. but no comparision andi .. RRR is an international film from our proud india andi .. God bless 🙏❤️ (sic)” Twitter RRR is running for an Oscar nomination in the category ‘Best Original Song,’ a historical moment for Indian films. Krishna Vamsi is busy with the production of his film Rangamarthanda, which is slated for release in 2023.
