The makers of the Murali Kishore Abburu directorial announce a new release date
Kiran Abbavaram, who became popular with his portrayal of ‘Seba’ from Sebastian PC 524, is now awaiting the release of his next Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, abbreviated to its initialism ‘VBVK’. Helmed by Murali Kishore Abburu, the movie is hailed as a comedy thriller and stars Kashmira Paradeshi as the female lead. Set in the temple town of Tirupati, ‘VBVK’ is a hilarious love story that has elements of action and thriller.
The movie was originally slated for release on February 17, when it would have clashed with Dhanush’s Tollywood debut Sir ('Vaathi' in Tamil), a bilingual movie directed by Venky Atluri and bankrolled by Naga Vamsi. The makers of ‘VBVK’, wanting to avoid such a box-office clash, decided to postpone the release date to Saturday, February 18, 2023.
Today, February 14, the team held a press meet to promote the film. Producer Bunny Vas spoke during the event and talked about the decision to postpone the film’s release date, “We have strongly promoted the film that it's releasing on FEB 17th, and the reason to change the date is a gentleman’s understanding. Naga Vamsi didn't even call me. We made the decision out of respect towards the man who helped during the release of Most Eligible Bachelor.”
‘Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha’ also features Murali Sharma in a prominent role. Chaitan Bharadwaj provided the music for the film, and Daniel Viswas is the cinematographer. The makers are hosting a pre-release function soon, and the event will be attended by Akhil Akkineni.
