The Tollywood actor spills the beans on constant trolling and negativity on social media due to the edited ‘Power Star’ tag
Starting off his acting career with a handful of short films, Kiran Abbavaram, with no godfather looking out for him in the Telugu Film Industry, rose through the ranks by impressing the audiences with movies such as Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, SR Kalyanamandapam, and Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavadini, among others. Kiran is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming flick Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, and speaking with the media as part of the film’s promotions, he opened up about the constant trolls targeting him.
It is evident that the industry is a breeding ground for cut-throat competition and constant trolls that affect numerous people across social media. Speaking about the same, Kiran said, “I'm not a star hero yet. I'm getting recognised of late, and I don't know the reason behind the negativity (surrounding him). My silence is only boosting such memes and trolls, I believe. They're doing it (trolling) intentionally. Maybe they want to send me away from the industry. Memers edited the title card of one of my films and added the 'Power Star' tag even though we didn't add it officially. People who came across the edit assumed that I added the tag myself and trolled me brutally. Does it (editing) merit such an intensity of trolling?”
The Tollywood actor’s upcoming ‘Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha’ is scheduled to hit the theatres on February 17, 2023, and co-stars Kashmira Pardeshi. The Murali Kishor Abburu-directorial is touted to be a drama, and so far, has garnered positive buzz with makers unveiling teasers, posters, and singles, consistently.
