The action-thriller co-starring Amala Paul will hit theatres in the Telugu States Kichcha Sudeep and Amala Paul starred in a 2017 Kannada film, titled ‘Hebbuli’. The action-thriller, directed by S Krishna, was commercially successful. Now, five years down the line, as regional stars are metamorphosing into pan-Indian stars and content-driven films are being lapped up across the nation, the makers of ‘Hebbuli’ have decided to release the film in Telugu. The dubbing and censor formalities of the film have been completed in Telugu and the release date will be announced soon. Sampath Raj, V Ravichandran, P Ravi Shankar, Kabir Duhan Singh and Ravi Kishan play major roles in the movie, which is produced by C Subramaniam. ‘Hebbuli’ features Sudeep as ‘Ram,’ a Para Commando Captain who sets out to investigate the mysterious death of his beloved family member. In the process of discovering the truth, he encounters a larger power at play, controlling an already corrupt system. Ram's quest of bringing down the people of power forms the crux of the plot. A Karunakar has provided the cinematography for the film, which has music by Arjun Janya and editing by Deepu S Kumar.
