Prior to the release of Jayamma Panchayathi, Suma and team visited the famous Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal
Popular anchor and Television host Suma Kanakala is making a comeback to the big screen in a full-fledged role with Jayamma Panchayathi. Suma plays the titular role in a village drama which is written and directed by Vijay Kumar Kalivarapu.
The movie is releasing on May 6 and the entire cast and crew have embarked on a promotional tour to Warangal. They visited the Bhadrakali temple in Warangal to seek the blessings of the Mother Goddess and conducted special rituals there. A large crowd of people assembled there on learning of Suma’s presence and jostled for ‘selfies’ with her.
Dinesh Kumar, Devi Prasad and Shalini Kondepudi are other major actors in the film that has music given by MM Keeravani. ‘Jayamma Panchayathi’ is produced by Balaga Prakash. Suma plays Jayamma who has an ailing husband and approaches the village council for a solution to a seemingly intractable problem that has an effect on each and every individual’s life in the village.
