Says he’s open to continuing as a villain if good roles come his wayVeera Simha Reddy is arriving in theatres for Sankranthi on January 13 and fans are understandably excited for both Balakrishna and director Gopichand Malineni are coming off the biggest hits of their career Akhanda and Krack. Incidentally, Kannada star Duniya Vijay is making his Tollywood debut with this film. Vijay plays the antagonist Pratap Reddy in this movie. Speaking about his experience of working for the film, Vijay said, “I consider it an honour to be part of a ‘Balakrishna’ film. My role is one of the pillars of the script. I asked the director why he wanted me for the character of Pratap Reddy, and he said he had seen my earlier work and felt I would be apt for it.”He further added, “I grew up watching Balakrishna sir’s films and to get the opportunity to share screen space with him today is truly amazing. Veera Simha Reddy is a great emotional journey. Balakrishna is a really dedicated and energetic actor with person a ‘heart of gold’. I want to try diverse roles as an artiste. I’m currently doing a film called ‘Bhima’. If good roles come my way, I am open to continuing as a villain in Tollywood.”
