Titled 'RanaNaidu', the web series is the first on-screen collaboration of the popular uncle-nephew duo Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati Actor 'Victory' Venkatesh and his nephew Rana Daggubati will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time albeit for a web series titled ‘Rana Naidu’. Produced for the OTT giant Netflix by Sunder Aaron of Locomotive Global Media LLP, the series stars Venkatesh, Rana and Surveen Chawla and is directed by the creator of popular 'Mirzapur' series, Karan Anshuman, and Suparn Verma, who has worked as the dialogue writer for Season 2 of 'The Family Man' series. The series is an official adaptation of the American crime drama series ‘Ray Donovan’ which is about a professional fixer who has absolutely no control over his personal life. Rana plays the titular role of Rana Naidu, a Mumbai-based fixer who is on the speed dial of Bollywood celebrities as there is no problem that he cannot fix, and Venkatesh plays an ex-convict and the father of Rana. The shooting of the series has been completed and Rana took to Twitter to announce about the wrap. Netflix will announce the streaming date of the series soon.
