Mahesh Babu's character in the globetrotting action adventure to be inspired by this Hindu God Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu jungle adventure #SSMB29 is one of the most anticipated films right now. The latest update about the film has got all the fans excited. According to an exclusive Pinkvilla report, Mahesh Babu’s character in SS Rajamouli’s next is inspired by Lord Hanuman. As per inside sources, "Mahesh Babu’s character will have traits similar to those of Lord Hanuman, who also has a history of fight against all odds in the jungles. In-fact, even the trajectory of the character will follow the route of the Ramayana, but with a spin given in by SS Rajamouli."The source further added, "The film is at present in the writing stage, and the team aims to take it to the floor by the end of this year. It’s among the most expensive films of Indian cinema and will extensively be shot in the Amazon Forest." Reportedly, international studios Disney and Sony Pictures are in contention to bankroll the film. The film which marks Mahesh Babu’s debut Pan Indian film will reportedly go on floors later this year and is targeting a late 2025 release. But this is not the first time Rajamouli has taken inspiration from Hindu mythology. Almost all his works, including ‘Baahubali’ and ‘RRR’ are also inspired by the epic. In an earlier interview, speaking about his love for the Hindu epic, Rajamouli said, "My love for stories like the Mahabharata or the Ramayana never diminished. Anything that comes out of me is somehow influenced by these texts. Those texts are like oceans: every time I visit them, I find something new. I did start pushing away from those texts’ religious aspects, but what stayed with me was the complexity and the greatness of their drama and storytelling."
