Sudheer Babu and the team talk about the making of the action sequences in ‘Hunt’Sudheer Babu’s Hunt, helmed by Mahesh Surapaneni, impressed the audience with its action-packed teaser. The cop-thriller, which will hit the theatres on January 26, follows the story of ‘Arjun’ (Sudheer) who is trying to get his life back together after losing his memory. The action sequences shown in the teaser were hailed for being extremely realistic. On January 9, Rana Daggubati launched “Hunt Movie Stunts Making” video that gives the audience, a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the film’s action sequences. The ‘Hunt’ team talks about how the film’s stunts differ from other movies, in the video. When filming action sequences, it is common practice to use different protective techniques to prevent injuries to the performers. Film-makers often use mattresses to ensure a soft landing, and ropes and harnesses to make the fighters fly away at the right time. More importantly, body doubles are used to ensure actors don’t get physically injured or strained. In ‘Hunt’ none of the protective measures were in place, making the action sequences much harder to film. The makers instead hired professional stuntmen and a special camera crew to make the action sequences more realistic. A Parisian group named, ‘Campus Univers Cascades’ was brought on board to choreograph, perform and film the stunt sequences.
